Strategic facilitator and organisational development coach, based in Cape Town, South Africa.
Meet Mignon Keyser
I am an experienced strategic facilitator and organisational development coach. Combining more than 25 years’ experience in facilitation, planning and organisational development, I have assisted leaders and teams to make the best possible use of their resources and abilities.
Over the course of the last 25 years I have had the privilege of working with over 600 entrepreneurs, social innovators and NGOs.
After starting my facilitation career in the project management industry with Vodacom, Old Mutual and Metropolitan, I transferred these skills to the entrepreneurial and NGO world, where I felt I could make the most impact.
I founded my own company Peerpower in 2003. The company specialised in incubation and acceleration programmes, collaborating with numerous entrepreneurial development agencies across South Africa. I have worked with award-winning social enterprises, technology companies and NGOs using my strategic skills and experience, assisting them to improve their impact and sustainability.
I have assisted organisations to build capacity, think through strategies regarding scale, develop teams and resources in management, process development and conflict management and structuring of leadership thinking and practice.
I have worked extensively with boards and governance issues at different levels, assisting boards to be more effective. I served on the board of the business accelerator The Bandwidth Barn in 2010-2011 and on a startup board for an NGO.
I have a broad understanding of the many ways organisations can organise themselves; working with the unique set of variables of each has taught me to work with diversity, flexibly and creatively.
